Terms & Booking Conditions

Tours are arranged directly with Jamal by WhatsApp, phone, or email. Sending an enquiry does not by itself confirm a booking.

Your booking is confirmed only once we have agreed the date, itinerary, and price with you and confirmed it in writing (for example, by WhatsApp message).

Prices shown on this website are starting ("from") prices in US dollars and may vary with the itinerary, group size, season, and any extra services requested.

The final price is the one we confirm with you at the time of booking.

The payment method and any deposit are agreed directly with Jamal when you book.

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please tell us as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you.

We may need to change or cancel a tour for reasons of safety, weather, road or site closures, or other circumstances beyond our control (for example, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is closed to visitors on Fridays). Where this happens, we will offer a suitable alternative date or itinerary where possible.

Unless stated otherwise, each tour includes a private vehicle, drinking water, and a certified private guide.

Prices exclude personal expenses, meals unless specified, souvenirs, and entrance fees to sites unless we have expressly included them.

Please be ready at the agreed time and place, and carry any valid identification or visa required for travel in Oman.

Dress modestly when visiting mosques and religious or cultural sites, and follow your guide's instructions at all times, particularly regarding safety.

Our tours may include outdoor and water-based activities such as swimming in wadis, hiking, desert excursions, and boat trips. These activities carry inherent risks.

You take part in all activities at your own risk and are responsible for judging whether an activity is suitable for you and your party. Please tell us in advance about any medical conditions, injuries, or special requirements.

We strongly recommend that every guest holds valid travel and medical insurance covering the activities on their tour.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamal Tours is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in a tour, except where caused by our proven negligence.

We are not responsible for services provided by independent third parties (such as boat operators, restaurants, or attraction sites), nor for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we may end a tour without refund if a guest behaves unsafely, unlawfully, or in a way that seriously disrupts the tour or endangers others.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Omani courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. The terms in force at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
